Special event planner/sales

I am looking for a Special event planner/outside sales person to market event tent rentals and related equipment for my company. The chosen candidate will need to have a post-secondary degree in special event management or marketing and advertising.

• Having worked in tourism or the special event field would be a benefit but is not necessary.
• Have at least 3 years event planning or outside sales experience.
• The chosen candidate will be expected to take a leading roll in the development of new accounts and sales initiatives in the company.
• The candidate will be expected to meet monthly quotas.
• The candidate will be expected to travel and be available 7 days a week.
• The position pays a salary and commission. To be negotiated.
• Other benefits are offered and will be discussed at interview.
